The Personal Banking Manager is responsible for selling within a Non-Regulated Environment e.g. personal lending, credit cards, added value accounts, general insurance plus new accounts, savings and referrals in regulated, mortgage and Business partnerships.
For the right candidate the salary level can be increased to £22,800 and is uncapped.
Key responsibilities include:
Service and Sales help and advice customers
A strong desire and passion to exceed targets and objectives
Telecare identifying and approaching customers by phone to secure appointments
Focusing activities on the right customer opportunity by ensuring that full and effective use is made of the Banks lead generation systems
Personal Leading
Savings account and attraction of new money to bank
General leads/appointments for the specialist sellers i.e. Mortgage Specialists/Financial Advisors
Attraction of new customer accounts
General Insurance
Added Value Accounts
Credit Cards
Internet and Phone Bank
Participation expected in daily and weekly team meetings to improve team results
Planning your own strategy for achievement of targets
Keeping knowledge of Bank products and competitor activity up to date
Experience/Skills Required
Preferably a background in the Retail Baking Industry
Ability to work to targets
Experience in selling a wide range of products
Interpersonal skills such as relationship building with customers and engaging colleagues in support of team targets
Working with colleagues to improve their lead generation abilities
Self motivation
C&G Tech Helpdesk

· To achieve personal and team objectives as set by the Service Standards, targets and Audit Control.
· To maintain and improve customer relations and increase C&G profile. This will be achieved by supplying outstanding service and portraying an excellent image to existing and potential intermediaries over the telephone when required.
· To co-ordinate and carry out the administrative tasks connected with the role, ensuring a professional and efficient service is provided to both our external and internal customers within service standards set.
· Understand and communicate effectively to intermediaries on all aspects of mortgage related enquiries and C&G products and lending policy.
· Liaise with other departments within C&G where appropriate, to answer intermediary queries.
· To action incoming queries with the ability to coach intermediaries through navigating the internet mortgage application.
· To log all calls received.
· To action specific incoming mortgage application queries.
· To assist intermediary with technical queries.
· Answer incoming emails ensuring adherence to compliance and Data Protection issues.
· Ad hoc project support.
· Record any problems with the website and action with appropriate people to resolve.
· Keep Intermediaries informed of known problems with site.
· Call intermediaries back to give updates or progress of problems and contact them when their issue is resolved.
· Perform any other tasks that may arise from time to time as directed by line management.
Welcome new intermediaries to C&G by being responsible for completing the internal registration process to C&G.
